Ok, but...who really is Abby Espiritu?
Born and raised in New Jersey, Abby was bitten by the acting bug at a young age, when her parents raised her on the cast recordings of Mamma Mia! and RENT and took her to see her first Broadway musical at the age of three.
She trained for five years at the prestigious Paper Mill Playhouse Theatre School, as a student at their competitive summer musical theatre conservatory under the direction of Mark Hoebee and Patrick Parker, a member of the audition-only Children's Theatre on Tour touring troupe, and even went on to work as an Assistant Teacher for the late Mickey McNany.
In addition to her passionate theatrical pursuits, Abby maintained her academic studies and was accepted to multiple Ivy League universities for college. She ultimately decided on and graduated from Brown University in 2019, with a BA (double major) in American Studies - with a focus in Asian American Representation in the Media - and Modern Culture and Media - with a focus on film and media production.
While at school, she continued to fill her time with artistic endeavors, performing in multiple shows throughout her time at Brown, and even executive produced and directed a number of theatrical productions too.
After graduating, Abby went on to work at Telsey + Company Casting (now "The Telsey Office") in NYC with hopes of pursuing a career as a casting director. However, after the pandemic hit in March 2020 and she lost her job, she pivoted back to acting, jumped headfirst into voiceover training, started doing on-camera and modeling work, and has been loving life ever since!
Abby now works as a full-time actor and content creator. You can catch her streaming on Twitch most nights a week, as well as creating content for her TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter pages.
